Blog Entry #2.13 - Process Journal 3 (E)

Question:
What has Been Completed so
far for your greeting cards?

Answer:
For my greeting cards we started off
by selecting our holiday. Then we answered questions based on what had to be done to create this holiday greeting card. After that, we were given three cards on holidays like thanksgiving, christmas and birthdays and answered questions based on what was on the image of the card and the caption that was inside the card. Then we researched our holiday and selected a minimum of 6 images that can be placed on the outside cover of our card. Then we drew a sketch of our card and created the cover and inside on the computer.

Question:
What work still needs to be completed to finish all of your greeting cards?

Answer:
To finish all of my cards i have to complete the rest of my sketches.

Question:
In what ways could your work be improved?

Answer:
For my work to be improved i have to finish some of the blogs that werent finished, also i have to
figure out more ways that can make my greeting cards more interesting to others. For examples, quotes, images and the colors.

Blog Entry #2.6-Process Journal 1 (C)

The Steps Needed to complete a set of greeting cards:

1) Research about the Holiday
2) Images about Wesak
3) Questions
4) Text inside card

Blog Entry #2.5-Desiqn Brief (A)

1) I am going to desiqn and make a card that celebrates the Wesak Holiday. The card i am
creating can be used for those who celebrate that day, because not everyone celebrates the same holidays, So this card is made for those who do.

2) The goal of this product is to research a holiday, a holiday you may not know anything about and create a card for those who are interested in celebrating that day. This card should be able to be given to people who know what the wesak holiday is and celebrate it, and for those who dont it should be able to tell them what it looks like by the picture thats gonna be on the cover.

3) My target markets demographics would be the views. lifestyle, and geography, because thats what the card should be able to have.

4) i consider the images and texts to be the important element of a successful product because its what grabs attention. Also, its the main things on the card .

5) The styles not to do in a design would probally be images that have nothing to do with the holiday , or quotes that have nothing to do with the image.

Wesak in a holiday card. I will design a card that celebrates it or that people can use them for those who do celebrate it. I dont know anything about this holiday but i will research and get information that will help me understand what the wesak holiday is and what people do to celebrate it.
